Justin Cronin is the author of The Passage trilogy, which became a global phenomenon upon its debut in 2010.
The first book spent three months on The New York Times bestseller list and was featured on numerous "Best of the Year" lists.
Cronin's previous works include Mary and O'Neil and The Summer Guest, which earned him the PEN/Hemingway Award and the Stephen Crane Prize.
He has also received a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and a Whiting Writer's Award.
Cronin is a Distinguished Faculty Fellow at Rice University and divides his time between Houston, Texas, and Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
