James Islington

James Islington is an Australian fantasy author who grew up in southern Victoria.

His early influences included Raymond E. Feist and Robert Jordan, but it was Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series and Patrick Rothfuss' Name of the Wind that inspired him to start writing.

Islington now lives on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria with his wife and two children.

He gained recognition for his Licanius Trilogy before writing The Will of the Many, which has received widespread acclaim.
