Brian Greene

Brian Randolph Greene is an American theoretical physicist and mathematician.
He has been a professor at Columbia University since 1996 and is known for his work on mirror symmetry and topology in string theory.
Greene has gained popularity through his books for the general public, including The Elegant Universe and The Fabric of the Cosmos, as well as related PBS television specials.
He has also made appearances in popular media, such as The Big Bang Theory and films like Frequency.
Greene co-founded the World Science Festival in 2008 and serves as its chairman.
